Terms of Service

1. Operator and acceptance

BooksBridge (the "Service") is operated by Shivarev Enterprises Limited, a private limited company registered in Cyprus (the "operator", "we", "us"). By installing or using BooksBridge, you (the "merchant", "you") agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.

2. The Service

BooksBridge is a Shopify app that reads your store's order and payment data, formats it, and transmits it to your Klarby account. BooksBridge acts as a conduit that moves your data on your instruction; it does not keep your books for you.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data in your Shopify store.
• You must hold valid accounts and authorizations for the destination(s) you connect, and comply with those platforms' terms.
• For personal data of your customers contained in your orders, you are the data controller; you are responsible for having a lawful basis to process and transmit it.
• You are responsible for reviewing the data delivered to your accounting destination and for the correctness of your books, tax positions, and filings.

4. Disclaimers

BooksBridge formats and transmits data. It is not an accounting, tax, bookkeeping, audit, or financial-advisory service, and nothing it produces constitutes professional advice. You are solely responsible for the correctness of your accounting records and any tax or regulatory filings.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any sync will be complete or free of defects.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted under the laws of Cyprus and the EU, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

6. Term and termination

Either party may terminate at any time: you by disconnecting your destinations and uninstalling the app; we by discontinuing the Service or your access, with notice where reasonably practicable. On uninstall or termination, we delete the connection tokens and data we hold for your shop as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your place of residence.
